The New South Wales Family Therapy Association would like to extend an invitation to join them for the 30th Australian Family Therapy Conference 2009. The conference theme for 2009 is Resilience and Relationships. The 30th Australian Family Therapy Conference celebrates and promotes family therapy and family-sensitive practice. Through a diversity of theories and practices, we develop ways of working that strengthen people’s capacities for resilience and strengthen the power of relationships to generate the conditions of resilience. From the most intimate relationships through to the multiple social contexts in which people live their lives, the human ability to survive and grow in relationship lies at the heart of therapeutic change. The three day conference promises an exceptional line up of speakers, interactive workshops, opportunities to network with colleagues and catch up with old friends. This conference will provide a platform to facilitate sharing of ideas and practical solutions or an opportunity for rigorous discussion from a holistic perspective. The conference will be held at the Sydney Marriott Hotel, on 20th-22nd October 2009.
